Ok i've got one match up right now, and it 's me vs. my brother. I hope you guys can help me. I've never done this before. Only constructive criticism plz.

Oooh, nice Falco. You're like, perfectly on par with me =)

A few things though. You have nice tech skill, but play smarter and use more mindgames. You dashdance into WD is quite sexy, and is very miznedgamable. Use lasers more, not much, there were just a few times you could have lasered your brother out of a dsmash into a d-tilt-> utilt -> spike or something like that

Well your approach is really what you need to fix, and that's why I said more Nairs. They out prioritize pills and some of Doc's aerials and you can combo them into shines.

You need to be the one on the offense, not him.

he doesn't need to be the one to approach the doc. lest time i checked, lazers > pills. Also, the nairing pills will always work, though jabbing or tilting them is another option.

Camping never improves you as a player. Doc has nothing on Falco, so there is no reason to not be the aggressor. Lasers and Nairs make a fine approach for Doc, and then when you get within range, boom, game over for Doc. Falco just has to watch out for the Bair and D-smash.

I think one problem with my playing style is that i don't know how to use spacing, and the pills don't help any T_T. Often times, when i approach a player, i space incorrectly and get punished for it. Does anyone have a good solution?

i think for spacing, use your lasers as a "feel-out" of sorts. when approaching with shl, you don't have to go straight at him. maybe go in a ways, and then hop right back to the other side of the stage. you're in no way obligated to attack until you have a good opening. so while camping like a ***** is bad, and you shouldn't do it, keep pressuring, coming in and out of attack range, until he makes a mistake, because trust me he will. /runon to the max

EDIT: your tech skill is reallly good. the only thing to look at is that you go straight into shine from the dair by reflex. its not a bad thing, but you should at the very least make sure he's in shine range, a lot of times you were clearly not going to hit him with it and did it anyways. learn to judge whether or not using the shine will help you from a dair.
and if it won't, usually i would use a dash attack, because you've got a clear shot at them and dash = combo.

Your tech skill is fine, as long as you can do basic aerials/lasers/combos it's fine. What really matters is that you know when to use it.
