Well it's been a while since my first RMT, so I thought I'd share my current team with you all and see what you think.

This team has gotten me a 17-4 record against both Smogon and SWF opponents.

My Team:

BTW, Breloom, Gengar and Milotic are my favorite pokemon. They just happen to work wonders as part of the same team.

Now on to the meat of the team:

Forretress* @ Occa Berry
Careful, Sturdy
252 Defense, 252 Sp.Def, 6 HP
Stealth Rock
Rapid Spin
Spikes
Explosion

My starter. Sets up spikes and stealth rocks as long as the oppoent lets it. Can also be used as a rapid spinner if they decide to put out spikes or rocks of their own. Likes to blow up on Blisseys.

Breloom* @ Toxic Orb
Jolly, Poison Heal
252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Spore
Substitute
Focus Punch
Seed Bomb

My Breloom once took out a whole team by itself (with a little bit of help from the other guy's Trick Room). Sporing and Sub-punching are its specialties. It gets a nice STAB on it and Seed Bomb as well. Toxic Orb/Poison Heal recovers any health lost for the substitute in 2 turns and serves to block any other status. I did consider Mach Punch instead of seed bomb but then it would be useless against ghosts. Jolly nature lets it outspeed some things.

Garchomp* @ Life Orb
Jolly, Sand Veil
252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Outrage
Earthquake
Fire Fang
Stone Edge

Ah, yes Garchomp. The powerhouse sweeper does its job well. Godly type coverage with this moveset. Life orb works pretty well but I might start using Choice Band or Choice Scarf. Suggestions?

Gengar* @ Focus Sash
Timid, Levitate
252 Sp.Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Shadow Ball
Energy Ball
Thunderbolt
Destiny Bond

My special sweeper. Its moves give it great type coverage and its immunities are very useful. When at full HP, focus Sash will help it take down faster psychics (alakazam). Gengar sweeps for a bit and then destiny bonds to make a grand exit.

Milotic @ Leftovers
Bold, Marvel Scale
252 HP, 158 Defense, 100 Sp.Defense
Surf
Ice Beam
Toxic
Recover

Milotic is a fantastic double wall. It also likes to absorb burns and perhaps a paralysis if Garchomp isn't there to take the thunderwave. Marvel Scale and recover let it take even thunderpunches while toxic works its magic. Surf and Ice Beam are staples.

Togekiss @ King's Rock
Modest, Serene Grace
252 HP, 100 Defense, 100 Sp. Defense, 56 Sp.Attack
Air Slash
Thunder Wave
Aura Sphere
Roost

Flinchhax Togekiss is possibly one of the most annoying pokemon to take down. Thunder Wave and then roost to heal any damage. After that, air slash them to death. AuraSphere for some type coverage. No need for speed ev's with thunderwave, which lets me use them to pad his defenses. It makes him able to tank both physical and special attacks (if the opponent ever gets a move in, that is).

Well, there you go. This team earned me a small reputation on the Smogon boards. If I can make it any better let me know how.

Ah, tried to take that line from Robot Chicken, I see. All's good on this team, only put Focus Blast over Energy Ball on Gengar and put Wish over Roost on Togekiss. What's worse than a healing Togekiss is one that can heal others as well. Weakness wise, I sense a Mamoswine denting this team a bit because it indolently hits Garchomp, Togekiss, and Breloom hard with Ice Shard, and that completely ruins Garchomp's and Togekiss' strategies. After that, Blissey absolutely walls this (As long as they also use Mamoswine, that is)

Breloom and Togekiss deal with Blisseys quite nicely. I also got Foretress to explode them too. Believe me, I have no problem with Blisseys.

Mamoswine's ice shard won't do very much to Togekiss with this EV spread. I wouldn't keep Garchomp out on a Mamoswine anyway. Who actually uses Mamoswine though?

The only problem I have with Focus Blast on Gengar is its accuracy. But I have thought about it. Energy Ball is there for Swamperts mostly...

Heh heh...It goes boom...Shiny, nice touch...Pretty straightforward Forretress. You spelled "Sets" wrong.

Breloom* @ Toxic Orb
Jolly, Poison Heal
252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Spore
Substitute
Focus Punch
Seed Bomb

Did it now? Very nice combo w/Toxin Orb and Poison Heal. Hurray for Shinies!!!

Garchomp* @ Life Orb
Jolly, Sand Veil
252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Outrage
Earthquake
Fire Fang
Stone Edge

Ah, yes Garchomp. The powerhouse sweeper does its job well. Godly type coverage with this moveset. Life orb works pretty well but I might start using Choice Band or Choice Scarf. Suggestions?

Ugh...Garchomp...I'd probably stick with the Life Orb, as much as I hate the HP drain. It lets Garchomp be a little more open with his attacks, so you don't do a predictable switch, if applicable. So it looks good!

Gengar* @ Focus Sash
Timid, Levitate
252 Sp.Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Shadow Ball
Energy Ball
Thunderbolt
Destiny Bond

My special sweeper. Its moves give it great type coverage and its immunities are very useful. When at full HP, focus Sash will help it take down faster psychics (alakazam). Gengar sweeps for a bit and then destiny bonds to make a grand exit.

Classic Gengar. Absolute speed-demon. Destiny Bond = Easy Kill.

Yet another classic...unless it gets Toxicked. Defense boost < Toxic damage.

Togekiss @ King's Rock
Modest, Serene Grace
252 HP, 100 Defense, 100 Sp. Defense, 56 Sp.Attack
Air Slash
Thunder Wave
Aura Sphere
Roost

Flinchhax Togekiss is possibly one of the most annoying pokemon to take down. Thunder Wave and then roost to heal any damage. After that, air slash them to death. AuraSphere for some type coverage. I'm a FlinchHax abuser myself! Good Togekiss.

chubb-o-wub is right, though. First-strikers can actually destroy many strategies.

Ex: Classic Sweeper Weavile gets owned by an unexpected Mach Punch from ______ (fill in the blank).

So take heed. And Godspeed, or rather, Gengarspeed.:chuckle:

MYSTIC KENJI SAYS:
Muscle Band could be used over Life Orb on Garchomp
__________________

Yeah, but it just doesn't boost as much...And I thought the same thing when looking over Aryman's team...

Garchomp has OK defenses, but if hit by the right move, he's done.

So say he's holding a Muscle Band.
Someone sends out an Abomasnow(Ice/Grass).
4x on Abomasnow with Fire Fang is much more tempting than hitting a Mammoswine with the same move, so he goes for it. After all Garchomp is much faster.

Abomasnow uses Ice Shard, Garchomp gets owned with 240 Power-Ice Shard and Abomasnow laughs at Garchomp for being so predictable. :chuckle: "Bwahahahaha!!!"

Garchomp struggles to get up, and manages a Fire Fang, but Abomasnow miraculously survives due to a bunch of Defensive Values and high HP.
Garchomp then takes another Ice Shard up the ***. Abomasnow wins...

Now, had Garchy been holding the Life Orb, Fire Fang would have OHKOed A-snow, and fallen with it rather than alone.

This is all hypothetical, so don't freak out :psycho: ...This is only to make a point.

What that point is: I don't know for sure...hmm...

Someone needs to teach me how to get pictures up...

His Defense is so huge, you need to max HP first to make it better.

Breloom* @ Toxic Orb
Jolly, Poison Heal
252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Spore
Substitute
Focus Punch
Seed Bomb

My Breloom once took out a whole team by itself (with a little bit of help from the other guy's Trick Room). Sporing and Sub-punching are its specialties. Try replacing Focus Punch with Swords Dance. Skarm should eat the Spore.

Garchomp* @ Life Orb
Jolly, Sand Veil
252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Outrage
Earthquake
Fire Fang
Stone Edge

Ah, yes Garchomp. The powerhouse sweeper does its job well. Godly type coverage with this moveset. Life orb works pretty well but I might start using Choice Band or Choice Scarf. Suggestions?
I'm thinking Fire Blast over Fire Fang, Swords Dance oevr Stone Edge, and a Naive Nature with the 6 HP in Special attack. But what do I know?

Gengar* @ Focus Sash
Timid, Levitate
252 Sp.Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Shadow Ball
Energy Ball
Thunderbolt
Destiny Bond

My special sweeper. Its moves give it great type coverage and its immunities are very useful. When at full HP, focus Sash will help it take down faster psychics (alakazam). Gengar sweeps for a bit and then destiny bonds to make a grand exit.
Watch out for SR, it'll screw you up bad. Possibly replace Energy Ball with Hypnosis and make it your starter.

Never been a fan of Toxic, but it's fine. Watch out for Empoleon.

Togekiss @ King's Rock
Modest, Serene Grace
252 HP, 100 Defense, 100 Sp. Defense, 56 Sp.Attack
Air Slash
Thunder Wave
Aura Sphere
Roost
Fine, but don't use King's Rock. PL0X?!?

Flinchhax Togekiss is possibly one of the most annoying pokemon to take down. Thunder Wave and then roost to heal any damage. After that, air slash them to death. AuraSphere for some type coverage.
