.RAR downloading onto SD card?

hi im fairly new to this whole texture thing, and when putting new textures onto my project m sd I noticed I cant put any .rars onto it? i can only download .zip files that have the Fit____xx.pcs or pac. how do I put textures ending in .rar to my SD card?

An .rar is an archive file. You need to unzip it with a program such as winrar and remove the files inside it.
