Random Snake Info

This is just some random stuff that I haven't seen posted

1. Snake can double back-air if you full hop(full hop then immediately do a back-air then u can do another back-air) or you can back air use you second jump and back-air back-air.

2.You can edge-guard using snake's taunt(and possibly kill opponent if they don't act fast). To do this just face the center of the stage while on the edge, taunt, then get out of the taunt as soon as possible the box will go off the stage and hit opponent. I have done two ko's using this method and they were worth it.

3. You can get on the edge to edge-guard, get off the edge(tap down on the control stick), short hop, back-air, and get back on the edge, w/o using your cypher, if done fast enough.

4. You can c4 an opponent in the air(just press down b while both of you are in the air and your close to each other)

5. If you are being edge-guarded, you can get off the edge, short hop, get a grenade out and lob it onto the the edge of the stage (the grenade throw where you tilt the control stick back a bit w/o turning and snake throws it up not forward). Then you can cypher back onto the edge.

Note- The only problem with this is that you will be hit on the way back up by the grenade as it explodes.

6. A warning to snake players, when coming back to the stage from below avoid at all cost being grabbed by the opponent as you are coming up with the cypher, since the cypher is slow at coming up, a knowledgeable smash player can grab you of the edge and all he has to do is wait till you break free from his grab, you will not be able to grab the edge and your third jump would be used up already. You can avoid this by getting off the cypher just by tapping down on the control stick just after you go over the stage level a little bit (enough where you won't be grabbed)

Hmm, quite a mix of new and known info. The double Bair sounds pretty nifty, same with C4 stick in midair which would cause for some mass confusion. The Edge hog sounds complex, especially when people can short hop a Dair, but it can be a great move if practiced.

Knew about the Box Edgeguard (inpractical, but badass) and the Cypher kinks.

I wouldn't call the box edge guard impractical, I think it's just hard to pull off and you have to time it correctly. Even if their on the edge there's not much the opponent can do other than wait till the box falls all the way down. If they were to try to get up from the edge or attack they would be hit by the box, and if they manage to avoid it you are already free from the taunt animation. I would only use the box edge guard if the opponent is coming back from below the stage and not use it at all against opponents with multiple jumps since they could easily jump and attack from above.

The double back air is useful since opponents don't expect a second back air, reminds me of DK's double back air from melee

I knew about #2, I just never thought it would work, but i'll definitely try it out as a safe edgeguarding technique.

#3 was interesting too, I didn't know you could do all that and still grab the ledge without cyphering
