random (probably stupid) DI question

Well, I would ask this in the DI thread... buttt this board needs moar action and I don't wanna tag my dumb question onto the end of a thread... So I'll be an attention hoar and make a new one.....

....

anyway...

So I was practicing my DI when I thought... hey I wonder if you can use the c buttons as well as the control stick to produce DI improvement... you know like double stick DI in melee... I figure the c buttons are frozen during hitstun because they don't produce a jump when you hit them... but maybe they can be used in DI?

So experts/DI experts tell me. Is this foolish or is this possible? My thumb hurts from mashing and sliding so many directions.... =/

I mean I know the c buttons don't produce directional hits like the c stick in melee... but you know I feel like forcefully mashing the stick and c buttons should produce different or more easily produce the trajectories I desire... amirite? wishful thinking =]

Yeah...pretty sure the C-buttons have no effect whatsoever. Sorry.
If I'm wrong though...heh. New way for me to ledge DI. I'd be happy. But I'm pretty sure I'm not.

I dont think C buttons would do anything, because despite the arrows that are on the buttons, they dont actually bare any directional influence ...which is ironically EXACTLY what DI stands for :p

C buttons are to jump, tis all i think O_o
