What is rage? If you didn't know before, your knockback is increased based on how much damage you've taken, this effect is maxed out at about 169 and is amplified for lucario. Rage has become an important part of the metagame, when late into stocks you can now stop going for damage early and go for the KO.... you likely will not have kill percentages memorized, and will not have time to check in the midst of a battle so this is a handy rule of thumb.
Rage rule of thumb
Lucario 200 rule
An uncharged smash will typically kill when both players are at a total of 200% or more if:
A. Lucario's opponent is over +50% damage
default 250 rule
An uncharged smash will typically kill when both players are at a total of 250% or more if:
A. Your opponent is over 110%
Example: When 2 mario's are at 122% mario can survive an uncharged up smash, if the attacking mario has his damage raised to 142% the up smash will then kill (tested on my 3ds, at Omega spirit train)
Notes:
A. This effect applies to non-smash attacks
B. It is also unknown whether this effect varies in strength between fighters other than lucario...
