Quick Question

I really like toon link and play pretty well against my friend who has been playing smash for like 12 years but I dont know if I'm actually good, I take notes from players like Lunchables to try and implement his tactics but I cant really tell from play if Im getting better so. My question is if I upload and link a potato quality video would anyone be willing to give me pointers on what I need to do more/less of?
