For installation, it says 2GB and under.
How much bare minimum space is required? I have a 512 MB SD Card. Will it work?

512 MB is the absolute minimum - Project M takes up 519 MB in total, but if you remove the /sound/ folder, that will reduce it to about 476 MB. This means you wouldn't get the "proper" music for stages like Fountain of Dreams, but the game is still playable without them.
