As Falcon which way should you smash DI to get out of Pika's repeated jab combo against a wall? Or is this actually an infinite, which I highly doubt it is.

I would think you DI up to get out of it - I play Link and I've trapped players against the walls of Hyrule Castle and gotten them "stuck" there with repeated sword jabs. I did it to a Captain Falcon level 9 computer once, and he DI'd his way out of it. From what it looked like, he was slowly moving higher and higher as I jabbed him consecutive times, and eventually he just used his neutral air to hit me when he got high enough and halted my jab combo. Thus my guess would be that you have to DI up, and once you're up high enough, use Captain Falcon's neutral air to hit Pikachu. In fact, I can't think of any other DI input that would work other than up...left or right would only move you into the wall or into the attacking Pikachu, which wouldn't help. And obviously, DI'ing down would only ensure that you stay as low as possible and thus rob you of the ability to use your neutral air to stop him from jabbing. So yes - DI UP, UP, and UP.

Link's repeated jab combo I find is incredibly difficult to DI out of if Link is in the correct spot at the wall.

DI towards until you're behind Pikachu or whoever is doing the jab "Infinite" on you. It WILL get you out. Don't roll afterwards try to counter attack or jump because your opponent may follow your butt.

Just DI to the oppisite direction of the wall to get out of the combo, the same fallows for other repetative combos, never try to DI up or down out of them.

I guess I was wrong. I saw a Captain Falcon computer DI'ing out of my Link jab combo, and he was going UP, so I assumed that'd be the thing to do. Wouldn't DI'ing TOWARDS your opponent be much worse? Every time they hit you with the jab, they'd knock you back to where you started and you'd have to DI all over again. How does that make sense?

The jab doesn't send you in as far as you can DI out.

And you can DI up, and then jump out Pikachu's, as it's done pretty close to the ground.

Yeah my first reaction was to smash DI up which I did, but even when I was far enough out to possibly jump the hitstun was simply too long and I fell back down again. Maybe Nair will work, or DIing towards Pika. I'll try both, thanks for replies.
