QUick attack instead???

ive recently got a pika epiphany and pickachu easily passed my Ike.
Qu. At. is really usefull for mind games, edge hogs, combos and skrewing with the enemy.

But with all that said...Would it be a good idea to use qu. at. as a substitute for walking to utilize the possible air combos that follow?

not always. as useful as qa is at disrupting attacks, it can still be hit with the proper timing by yor enemy. you can always Quick Attack Cancel (QAC) to move close to them then jump over. but dont underestimate pikachus running. Pikachus run speed i like 8th overall and can be used to mindgame or approach. the occasional dash dance doesnt hurt either, as well as just running through them for epic mindgames XD

No. You need a grab game

That said, you should always QAC into thunderjolt. Nothing is more satisfying.

i noticed also that he has a some chain grabbing ability.

yes, only on certain chars. look at the static intense guide at the top of this forum. it has the list there.
