Recording good quality is usually within the software you are capturing with. There should be like a "recording settings" panel or something. i usually record in the quicktime format and id say my matches have decent quality. see for yourself

Ok thanks guys

Haha i feel dumb about the dropzone thing it kinda makes sense

Kush so when u record it it has to be in a computer? how does that work exactly, i have only played on tv's

And seriously ik how to do most of the advanced techs but whenever i looked on the boards and saw that word I got confused. I thought it might have been the moment when u fastfall after jumping offstage to get a knee or some other aerial (probably knee for me :)) on a recovering enemy, you know.

I use a Dazzle capture card and Pinnacle Studio to capture stuff

You need splitters and another cable but it's pretty straightforward

what this guy said lol, but yeah you get your capture card and splitters, assemble it on the TV with the cables and then you will need to have a capturing software, mine is called videoglide. The software should recognize the capture card and record anything the tv is showing; ie- your gameplay

The regional boards I guess
Or just going to all your local tourneys
Arkansas probably doesn't have the liveliest Smash Bros scene though

I have the Dazzle and it works pretty well, but the videos take up A LOT of space. Also, the program never seems to work properly on my computer. I've had to force it to close and I blue screened twice from it, but my computer works fine. I don't know if it's my comp or not, but it would have to be extremely coincidental to be :s
