Questions about the dazzle video creator plus hd

Hey everyone,

Today's woot is the "Dazzle video creator plus hd."

I want to record smash on a computer while I play it on a TV. Is this what I need to do that? What else do I need for a recording setup? Would it be possible for someone to describe all the cables and devices one needs for a recording setup, perhaps with a picture?
