Hey all, I'm more of a casual competitive player, but I have a lot of interest in investing in tournament production mainly from the standpoint of television/streaming and the aesthetic of the environment the tournament is taking place (lighting, projectors, audience bleachers, etc.).
I haven't been to a tournament in almost 10 years, but I have a few questions.
This is all relevant to Melee, 64, Brawl, Wii U as if I one day host a tournament myself, it'd have 2 flights minimum, maybe 3 (Wii U & Melee for certain, and MAYBE 64)
What's the usual set up at a relatively decent attended tournament (i.e.: Number of TV's, Consoles, chairs for players, chairs for spectators)?
What's the general set up of the rooms? Is it just your basic volunteer at the desk to sign-in, walk past the desk and everything is in one room and people are constantly walking in and out?

I want to make the overall tournament experience feel like the Superbowl or a Grand Slam tournament in Golf/Tennis. I've seen some stuff of the bigger tournaments, but I still think the sky is the limit for what Smash, let alone e-sports can achieve. Smash in particular has tons of untapped potential.
