Question regarding youtube/google videos

From what I've seen the majority of smash videos are uploaded to youtube/google vid, rather than direct avi links; problem here is that I'm trying to get some of these videos onto my Zen, which can play videos. I've checked around but can't find any solid solution to saving youtube vids in a proper video file format

Any ideas? Is there any server of smash videos not in flash format?
Help would be appreciated!

Did a quick google search. It's a freeware program that allows you to download video into the format you'd need to transfer to your Zen.
