Question regarding recovery and Zelda

In recent vids I've been watching, when a Sheik is knocked WAY off the stage, but still alive, they'll often transform into Zelda and use her up-b since it goes farther than Sheik's. But my question to you Sheik players: Is there ever a time when you up-b as Zelda, make it to the stage, but then get a fury of attacks on you, thus not having time to transform back to Sheik, and must fight, even briefly, as Zelda?

yes, especially if the player is edgeguarding, if this happens on a large stage such as pokemon stadium or fd, then teleport away and quickly transform. If not, then fsmash to get them away or maybe even a throw at high percentages.

You can also transform from the edge after you sweet spot as zelda just down b from the edge and then up b as soon as you transform in to sheik if you do it right you will sweetspot as sheik with just the jump part and not the vanish.

There's always the tips in those messages... Or... People should learn to play well as both Sheik AND Zelda, not just one. ;P

Most if the time, with good di, you'll make it back just as good as zelda ever good. Transforming in the air slows you down and cuts down on your di massively..so its really not worth all the trouble..just di well and use your second jump at the best time.

Another tip if you are using zelda for recovery, if you die while zelda don't change back right away when you come back it kills your invulnerable frames making you completely vulnerable because of the lag of the transform. So try to surprise them with a few thunder toes or F-Smashes then when they are knocked away transform back.

Yes. That's why I reccomend that you learn Zelda's moves if you plan to recover with her. I use Zelda as one of my side characters, and knowing how to play with her has saved my Sheik in alot of matches.
