Haha, alright. Well the most common way a tournament will run seeding is by splitting up all the entrants into a number of Pools. Each pool will most commonly have a round Robin format, where every player plays every other player. The players who have the most wins will be Seeded higher than those who have less wins. A seed is basically a number tied to you saying "I'm this good." A 1st seed would be one of the top players at the tournament. Then, when the brackets are made, the seeds are "evened out" in a sense, where first round a 1st seed will play something like a 4th seed from a different pool, and a 2nd seed would play a 3rd seed. (There can be more than 4 seeds). Basically, the whole seeding process is to make it easier on the TO's to make a bracket. An experienced TO can make a bracket without pools if they know most/all of the players, but most people prefer to run pools as the seeding is more precise and people get to play more.
