for the people who have it already, is there an option to turn items off while online??

I don't have it, but I can tell you that in "With Friends" you can edit all of the options and play anyway you want.
On "With Everyone" its no. That mode is items on and time matches only.

actually, With Anyone you can turn items on/off. Its based on how many people agreed on that certain item turned off. Its like casting a vote to have a certain item(s) turned off.
but hes right about With Friends, you can set any of the rules.

Are you able to spectate friend's matches? Say there's a tournament going on between some of your friends, and you wanna see it Live... would you be able to spectate?
