Question on how to make new roster slot

I love project m. But it's missing a shadow character (i would love to have shadow in pm). I just want to know if its possible to create an extra slot in project m in order to input a shadow character in that slot so i dont have to overlay any present charcters in project m.

Look into the brawlEX engine for slot expansion.
