Question of the Wii/DS version

Is there going to be any difference between these two? I already have Pearl for the DS but what's going to be so good about the wii version? How will it be any better and should I get it?
The graphics look nice and the battles resemble a look familiar to Pokemon Stadium.

The Wii version is the new pokemon stadium. The DS version you have allows for you to follow the story mode, catch pokemon, etc. The Wii version only allows you to battle. Aside fom prizes you can win there is nothing else. No story mode, no wild pokemon, nothing. Like the DS version is alllows for online battles.

To put it simply do you want to pay $50 for 3D battling? If the answer is yes this game is for you. If not, don't buy it.
