well i actually did search for this, but not allot, so i hope i get an answer

okay with my falco, i am recently trying the shine canceling to back air in high damages, witch is pretty fun when i land it, but i cannot do it constantly, i have seen PC do it lots of times to this peach in OC3, witch made me start trying it, and i can do it allot to captain falcon but i cant get it down on any other one.

is there a certain way i should be timing this, or doing it with, anyway i should be pointing after the shine?...

just jump straight out of the shine with the control stick and you can have your hand right by the c stick so you can back air in either direction.

heh, magee is new. I told him what's up.

Also, I agree with Big_R. Just gotta be fast with it. Also, obviously, it helps if you shine on the upper part of your opponents body so it gives you more time to bair/nair the opponent after the shine before he/she flies out of range. Same with shining the opponent on the center of his/her body.

If they DI perfectly they can get out of it, but chances are that's not your problem. Just make sure you're doing it fast enough and it's harder to do it if you had with the top part of the shine.

does this work with all characters, or are there some characters that fly off real high or a lot to the right/left and this can not be applied?.
