(QUESTION) Melee on a crt monitor.

I posted this in melee, but here we go:

Guys, i have a question:

wondering around my town i found an old pc in the streets (a pentium 4), it came with the pc, a mouse , a keyboard, and a crt monitor. where i live it's easy to find crt's but it's hard to buy them, you guys may say something like ''don't be a *****, buy a 20$ crt'' the problem is, 20$ here are 50.000 bsf, the minimun salary is 90.811 bsf and that's in a month, making it a stupid idea just to buy a crt for playing melee.

so, the question is if there a way to play melee in this crt monitor and how more or less lagless is.

also i have a sony lcd color tv klv-23hr1, but i don't even want to try out that input lag.

Playing on a crt monitor is probably the best way of playing melee right after using a super expensive professional video monitor (PVM). Both in terms of lag and video quality. Check out the "The optimal setup" section in this thread for the stuff you will want to use.
