Question for all Diddy mainers

Who is the hardest matchup, or what types of characters fare well against diddy?

I use Zelda and Pikachu, and am looking for a third character to use

Ollimar is goods on FD, but on BF and SV i usually wipe the floor with them, another one is Luigi i think, because his slipperyness when you throw a banana at him usually messes up some of my combos, or other tatic. but this is just me. I personally find Zeldas easy for diddy.

any space animal, link, and olimar if you arent used to him. Those seem to give diddy the most trouble (or at least my diddy)

There is already another thread here on Diddy matchups. You might check there for more advice from other Diddy players.

You seem to be pretty set though. I have a really hard time fighting Zelda, and Pikachu seems like he would do really well against Diddy. I haven't played a good Pikachu (though I do use him), so I'm not too sure there. With some practice you might be able to just use one of your already existing mains to counter Diddy pretty well.

Probably the best way to practice fighting Diddy is to play some matches here and there with a few Banana Items turned on. That should get you pretty familiar with fighting against them (and using them against your opponent).
