How are the new Smash brand controllers?

I'd like to know how they compare to the old ones (short cable) and the white ones. I really didn't appreciate the sticky triggers of the white controller.

Wondering whether or not I should grab one.

they have the same triggers as the white ones. the triggers feel like that because they lack the metal stabilizers of the older models which allow you to pull the triggers at an angle instead of sticking. IMO, the shield drops are better but the pendulum effects (try falco reverse lasers or perfect pivotting) are pretty bad with these and take a lot of time to get worn in. This has to do with the analog stiffness and the deadzone.

Got one, they suck, triggers started jamming after a month.

If you do get one, only use it for Smash 4.

If you didn't like the white ones, you almost certainly won't like these ones. Overall, I haven't had any problems with it other than the Z button being hard to press, but then I don't have issues using almost any controller as long as the stick isn't too loose and the buttons work.
