Question about PM Installation

I'm having trouble with getting Project M on my SD Card; I'm sorry if my question is vague as I am not particularly knowledgeable about technology.
I downloaded the 3.6 Beta Hackless ".zip" file from the website. I tried several times to unzip the file, but it failed every time. So I was wondering: do I need to unzip the files myself, or can I just have a friend copy the unzipped files onto my SD card?

If a friend has the files they can put them on your Sd card.

The wii won't know whose computer you used.

Otherwise you can download 7zip and try that.

Thank you so much! One more question: would it work if I had a friend e-mail the files to me? (My friends with PM are all out of town.)

That's not really optimal.

in order to email them, your friend would want to zip them anyway...

just get 7zip
