Question about PDP gamepad

Hello everyone.

I'm in a little trouble. I'm playing Project M in Dolphin since I'm European and there's no PAL release for this orgasmic mod. But, you know... the GAMEPAD. That decission...

I have a 360 pad right now, but it's terrible. Input lag, bad directions, triggers without response... nah, not the way I think. I was thinking about a GC-USB converter, but it's really expensive.

I have a Wii-USB converter like this:

So classic pads would fit perfectly. But I was thinking of this pad, the PDP one, and connect it through this converter:

By doing this, I would convert this awesome pad in a wired one (which is the reason I wouldn't buy one for the Wii U system). But I have a couple of questions:

1) Does this device work for Dolphin and this pad?

2) Is this pad as awesome as it seems?

3) Input lag and strange inputs are possible by doing this?

Any other suggestion or comment is welcome. Thank you!

I wouldn't recommend that. Instead get this. Very cheap and is one of the best adapters out there. No input lag and two ports for real Nintendo gc controllers. I never recommend third party controllers. I have this adapter and it works great.

1) if the standard Classic Controller works in Dolphin, this will work too, since it's literally just a Classic Controller redesigned to look like a GC pad.

2) and 3) we don't really know yet, since it's not been released yet. For reasons I don't get, the Z buttons are the triggers on this, and the L and R buttons are in the Z button position (above the triggers) - not a deal-breaker, but you might want to reconfigure the controls if you prefer having the triggers shield and the buttons above them grab.

...speaking of GC-USB adapters, I wonder if the upcoming official one will work with PCs?

If it's wireless it probably won't work (wiimotes desync netplay). But I'm fairly certain someone will make drivers for the official Nintendo adapter.

It'll work like you're thinking. Like it was said above, that controller literally is a classic controller as far as software is concerned.

Yeah except you can't use a classic controller over Netplay unless your controller is a USB controller.

Hm... the other day it was 23 GBP, not 12. That's pretty awesome!!

So, you can guarantee it is a good solution (no lag, no strange inputs, etc.), can't you?

The mayflash adapter will be a good solution and it will work perfectly if you set it up correctly. Look at the controller section of the FAQ of the guide in my siggy for proper setup.

noone can guarantee how anything will work on YOUR pc...
Yes, I know. But if the problem is in the PC and not in the adapter, that's important.

Thank you very much ;)
