Question about D3's BAir

I know it's the best edgeguarding technique, but whenever you use a second jump to get closer to your target, you turn towards them, rendering his BAir useless.
How can I fix this?

Instead of holding the direction you want Dedede to move, and then pressing jump (causing you to turn around), jump first, then hold the direction you want to go.

that or you can do it the noob-ier way of floating toward them THEN float once away from them and connecting with it...

I do suggest using ShortAssassin's explanation though.
