Event - Apex 2015 Question about "Bracket" event on Day 2

Full disclosure: I'm new to this site and relatively unfamilar with Smash tournaments in general, but I don't know who or where else to ask, so here goes: I'm signed up for Smash 1v1, and on the schedule for Day 2, I see an event from 5pm-6pm called "Smash Wii U Bracket". Obviously, I know what a bracket is, but what does this hour block entail? Assuming I make it past Round 2 earlier that day, is attendance for that mandatory? I'm going to have to be at work at that time, so I just need to know the details about this for sure to see what I can figure out. If I can't attend, is there anyone to talk to regarding schedule conflicts and a potential resolution?

I realize this is probably a completely obvious question for many of you and I probably look dumb asking it, but I'd greatly appreciate some help with this, as I don't want to get screwed over due to my schedule, since it's hard enough trying to make my attendance to Apex happen around work. Thanks in advance.

It will be the final bracket that's created after the 2 rounds of pools. It will probably be around a 64 man bracket. If you make it that far then yes it's necessary for you to be there.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I have a back-up plan in case things come to that, if I'm able to reach that far in the tournament. Hope all goes according to plan for me.
