Question about 3 players on "with anyone".

I thought that when you played "with anyone" if there was 3 humans, it would automatically add a CPU? but, this has happened to me about 4-5 times, it will just be a 3 person battle (no CPUs) . don't get me wrong, it's much better, but I was just wondering if this was suposed to happen or not. sorry for n00b question

Sometimes the game fills all empty slots with CPU, sometimes it doesn't. So it seems to be based on luck (I can't notice a pattern either)

Brawl's online will randomly fill unfilled slots with CPUs because it hates fun. You'll have to get used to it.

the reason why cpus end up there is when the player in that slot disconnected...
