Q: Possible to replace videocard on laptops?

I'm really wondering since my laptop is about 5 years old. And I really wanna play some new generation games; "Devil May Cry 4" "Crysis" "Left 4 Dead" "Mirror's Edge" etc...

So is it possible?

BTW:
Also questioning if this goes with RAM and CPU too? (I could plan on getting dual/quad core)
Opinions greatly appreciated.
