If you don't know it,
it looks like this (images from IGN) :

It has been dubbed Bejeweled with RPG elements.

Since I just heard about this game while watching the Gametrailers video, I read up on it, researched, and gained interest fast.
I ordered it from eBay and I'm still waiting for it to arrive. :dizzy:

If you have the game, what are your opinions of it?
If you don't have the game, would you be interested in buying it?

I just got it for Christmas, actually. I'm still pretty early into the story but I already find the RPG elements pretty compelling. The gamplay is... well it's bejewelled. Nothing more, nothing less. But I'm down with that.

Okay so I put at least 5 hours into the game.

I know no one will read this but...

Puzzle Quest is a VERY addicting game.

One thing though, with the puzzle aspect of the game, the AI cheats like no other and gets combos like nothing.
The AI seems to know what pieces are coming up and uses that to its advantage.
Later on, I got better spells and stuff to counteract the handicap so the game is fine.
There's no penalty for losing a battle, but you do get frustrated. Even with the frustration you can't help but want more. When you do win a battle with your own wits it feels great.

If you suck at Bejeweled then ... get better cause that's what the game's battle system is.
You'll get better over time just like any other game.

The RPG elements in this are strong.
Your character will gain experience and you could put skill points into whatever you choose.
There are quests for the main story and also side quests. I found myself doing a huge number of side quests and only doing a few main quests. Quests are given out in almost every major city so there are plenty of quests to go on.
There's ways to learn spells of enemies and capturing enemies for your team.
People from quests will also join your "party" if you help them out a certain way.
"Party" is more like they'll do something special in special situations.
Like the first guy I got helps you if you're battling an undead monster.
There are shops for equips and later you could forge your own items by using Runes you find spread throughout the world map.

The world map is huge, I only touched probably 15% of the world map.
This game seems huge and can probably take like 0294809284092843 hours to finish the game completely.

I highly recommend this game.

It did come out March of last year so it should be pretty cheap.
I got my copy for $16-$17 and it is money well spent.
