Putting down the hopes of moddings for Brawl

It would seem as though as nearly none of the people here that claim they'll mod their Wii just for this game don't really know their way around this sort of stuff, so let me help a bit:

IT'S NOT YET CERTAIN YOU'LL BE ABLE TO RUN BRAWL ON A PAL CONSOLE NOR AN AMERICAN ONE.
Seriously, PAL users have not alot of chance of actually having this game on their Wiis from neigther USA or *** region games, even with modding, region patching is good and works with alot of games, just not with all, the rates of USA/*** games working on PAL consoles are really low comparing with USA>***/vice versa.
Now alot of people also seem to think that because both Japan and the US use the NTSC format the games will always work after patched, then I'm sorry to break it to ya, but they don't always work, even though nearly all of them work, they don't ALL work, for example, a USA Wii couldn't play none of the previous killer apps for the Wii(Zelda, SMG, FE), I might be wrong of some of these, but you get the point.

Also, if you're still going to mod this, do yourself a big favor and avoid the WiiFree at all costs, IF YOU GET A WIIFREE YOU WILL MOST PROBABLY WON'T BE ABLE TO PLAY THIS GAME ON IT, this is due to a new encryption method used by Nintendo on their more successful titles(SMG and Link's Crossbow Training have gotten this new protection as far as I know), nearly all of the mods already found a way around this, and even if a newer encryption would be used for SSBB, most of the mod makers would be able to make an update to bypass it.
Now the reason you should not go for WiiFree is quite simple, the developers of it have quite updating the chip, WiiFree users didn't even get an update for running SMG, so there's no doubt they won't go back to programming it anew just for Brawl after it's been announced dead.
So just do yourself a favor and avoid getting it if you want Brawl early.

I'm not trying to upset anyone here, just plain putting out the facts I know of, so people won't just go out and put their money away for no reason, I just hope this helps someone.

If this has been brought up before, just close this thread please, I've looked around, but everywhere everyone just seems so ensured of buying a mod and playing Brawl with no problem, it's just not working like that, sorry.

Honestly I'd say just wait it out. Sure it's another month, but really.....it's another month. Surely you have enough of a life or at least other games to play that you can hold out for one more month.
