Fairly new here so I hope I'm asking in the right place. What are some of Sonic's most punishable attacks?

I rarely get to fight him and i don't know what to look for. The ones on FG are mostly terrible, but in the event I get a good one i get messed up pretty bad.

Also, can the homing attack be air dodged at all? I'm scared to follow him into the air for combos.

Well if his homing attack misses and he lands on the ground rather than bouncing off your shield he'll have a ton of lag when he lands. I don't see any reason you couldn't air dodge it but you might want to test that one out a bit.

His fair and bair have a lot more end lag than they did in brawl, I see a lot of sonics leaving themselves open to punishes with these moves (probably still not used to the change). Anyway hope that helps, and good luck.

Sonic's dair if it hits the ground is so punishable he might as well be taking a nap. Also Sonic's spin dash is punishable if they decide to let it end on the ground and not let it continue in a air combo or something.

Oh, and since you main Shulk, if he's Homing Attacking above you, just use Up Smash (but time it!), most times it'll try to hit you from above. Very punishable. I've actually killed a couple of Sonics with Shulk because they thought it was smart to Homing attack above me. You can also do this if they're recovering with the homing attack with Shulk's Side Smash but It's slightly harder.

I'm pretty sure you can air dodge his Homing Attack. People I've played against have dodged mine in the air before.

This is a pretty vague question. There are all kinds of situations and factors to be considered in the process of "punishing". Perhaps you'd be better off looking through our moveset thread so you can better understand the start-up, cooldown, active frames, etc. on Sonic's moves so you know what you're up against.
