statistics
power: *****
speed: ****
weight: *

moves
A: double punch
Utilt: same as Fox's
Dtilt: sweeping kick
Ftilt: forward kick
Dash attack: similar to Ness' but with only body range

Nair: like Mewtwo's, but with knockback instead
Uair: a laggey upwards kick
Dair: standered spike
Fair: Mario's SSB64 fair (with knockback)

Grab: when holding someone he smacks them the face!
Forwardthrow: sends the foe off with a kick to the stomach
Backthrow: same as Falcon's
Upthrow: upwards electric slash
Downthrow: throwdown into an axe kick

Usmash: same as Zelda's
Dsmash: uses the volteccer straight along the ground (like he does on wires)
Fsmash: draws lightning from the sky & shoots it straight forward

B: lightning swipe- uses a slash of electricity. Also shoots a ball of electricity when charged
^B: volteccer- turns into a ball of electricity and shoots up diagonally, which can also bounce off objects for more air time
vB: counterspark- basicly Roy's like counter combined with Pikachu's Dsmash
<B>: dash- like Fox's, but gives Pulseman a charge for his electric moves

Final smash: Pulseman crouches and sends balls of electricity in 8 directions

why he could make it
-was made by Gamefreak (who is now 2nd party, therefore, Pulseman is 2nd party)
-Pulseman is 16-bit retro (you know who like retro ;))
-Pulseman is non Pokemon Gamefreak rep

why he could not
-was a Genesis exclusive
-not recognized enough
-possibly treasured too much by Gamefreak

and, for those who wish to talk about Pulseman non-smash related: http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=114080

Ah, definitely would be a nice representative, honestly.

Too bad Pikachu is using his signature move as his final smash, though.

I'd love to see Pulseman in Smash Bros, though I'm not sure if his game ever made it to a Nintendo system (by that I mean the Genesis version make it onto the Wii as a VC title). It would be great to see him duke it out agains Pikachu, or even a threeway battle between him, Pika and Jill.

Not a bad moveset, I think it'll work pretty well. You might want to consider including his ability to charge up power by moving around which would strengthen his electrical attacks, both the normal and special attacks, that would give him a nice twist (I see Dash Dancing being very useful to him). It'd be cool if his Volt Eccer allowed him to bounce when hitting ceilings and walls too, so it'd be a more unique ability (and truer to his game). ;)

He does seem as a good character so let's hope he gets in. But maybe sadly Sakurai will place him as an AT.

I don't care how he turns out in the game, just as long as they include him in some way. I've got my fingers crossed for PC though!

He needs different stats.

Since he hasn't been on a system, I don't see him getting in, 2nd party or not. You asked "where do you see Kirby?" What do you mean by that?

Why?, Pulseman can destroy just about all stage enemys with one hit so being powerful seems fitting too me, he runs fast, and in his game, he dies in 3 hits, so, ultra light-weight for him

Kirby is 2nd party just like Pulseman, and Kirby makes it no problem!

There really is no balance. Mario can 1 hit practically all the enemies in Super Mario, why isn't he super duper strong?

Ok? Kirby has been on almost every Nintendo system, that's why. Pulseman hasn't.

Ah, good point there!, however, the difference between Mario & Pulse is that Pulseman is part machine, so he IS more powerful. However i could see Pulseman being balanced out with slow laggey moves, his flip kick ingame has insane startup time, just stick that on alot of his powerful kick moves and he should'nt be brocken ;)

Also, Pulseman has been on a Nintendo system!, on the Japan-only VC!

Lol that's kind of weird logic that because he's part machine means he's more powerful. I could see slow attacks, good power and speed, and light weight making a unique character.

Hmm, I don't know if that gives him a significantly higher chance, but I say the more the merrier. not too fond of him right now but I'm sure he'd make a good addition. Though like others said, Megaman would definetly come first.

How is that weird logic?, Megaman is pure machine, and he once held Wily's fortress from crushing him & Light!. But i'm glad you see his potential :bigthumbu
and Megaman is obviously 1st (even though i see Pulseman as the better man >:D)

Also, do you have any (other) suggestions i should add?

Haha, I dunno it's just weird to me, not in a bad way, I just wouldn't say hes stronger because he's machine.

Links to more information about him on the original post, maybe. More pics of him too, if you want.

He sounds good to me.

Well then i've pretty much nailed the 1st page then... there are only 2 places that provide good info on him and that's Wikipedia (which anyone can look up) and Volteccer! (which is now closed) so...

Your imagination is most likely better than mine, would you be able to think up of taunts, victory poses and attack damage?

I'd love Pulseman over Megaman any day.. o_o

Sure why not.
That was an awsomely un-expected thing for you to say there... here, have a Gameboy: :colorgame

Also, i think Sakurai hinted Pulseman being in brawl, notice in the Pokeball update he also reveals Groudon... now look at THIS!.

I always wondered why Groudon looked so awsome... but now i know it's because he draws from Pulseman!.

The design of the spikes look similar but that's only because both games have the same artist. I'm pretty sure it's only a coincidence and an accident.

Coincidence?

*The Gunfish enemy that appears underwater in Stage 6 of Pulseman resembles to Remoraid, as they are both combinations of fish and revolver pistols.

*Volt Tackle's Japanese name, ボルテッカー or Volteccer, comes from Pulseman, and is the name of Pulseman's signature attack, where he flies around as a ball of electricity. The Final Smash version of Volt Tackle closely resembles Pulseman's Volteccer.

*The Japanese name is "Galaxy Gang", possibly a reference to the Galaxy Gang in Pulseman.

*Mars resembles Beatrice from Pulseman.

*Lisa Hatfield was on the logo art of Pokémon Journal at the GameFreak Webpage.

*The D/P rival battle is a remix of Neo Tokyo (first level of Pulseman)

*The battle with Groudon is a remix of the 2nd level boss in Pulseman

*The championship battle in D/P is a remix of the final boss battle in Pulseman

I think not.
