I was toying around with lucas today against my friends and stumbled upon this. everytime one of my friends tried to recover back onto the platform, i just stood near the edge and held my PSI Magnet. right before they would land, i release the magnet jetting them back off the edge and keep doing it until they eventually get knocked off for good.

If it's a matter of the opponent grabbing the ledge, it's easier to roll so that your back is to the outside of the stage, make a short jump backwards, tether grab the ledge, and just ledgehog. It seems like the timing aspect involved in PSI Magnet would make it more difficult.

isnt this the same as my post a few more posts down? Psy Spiking?

How is the timing hard? as soon as u let go it hits them, the timing for shining isnt hard and it has more range.

The problem is that anyone can sweetspot the edge easily. You actually have to chase them off the edge for this to work in most cases, and the lack of priority makes it risky.

one thing I like to use the psi magnet for is when I am off the edge. I quickly drop and jump up to a psi magnet. Then I decide to get on the stage or drop back down. Good for mind games.
