There's Pixel-Overs (which I asked about and never got an answer to whether or not that was legal)

Scratch Sprites (Charmander and I's were scratched, not sure about greenstreet's)

And then there's getting a sprite, recoloring, fixing up some of the parts, and make it look like the actual pokemon (which is was TAL did)

I think that Pixel-Overs are considered Pixel-Overs and not Repostions.
I think that the artwork is already considered a position.

Yeah I scratched about 95% of mine. Bit's of the jaw and mouth were taken and adjusted because I couldn't get it right, but otherwise, it's all scratched.

Edit: I voted Absol because it looks the smoothest and most natural there.

You know, even though I've never done a repose in my life and I'm pretty horrible at scratching, I'm pretty darn proud of myself. Even though both sides are perfectly symmetrical (look for yourself), I think I actually did good on it. I set my mind to it, and personally, it's one of my favorite sprites actually (I just like how I did the wings, not intending to brag, but it took me forever to get them right because they came out too squiggly XD)

have you considered the line curve tool, I use it a lot, Including this sprite.
And Im incredibly Impressed on how mine turned out, It looks sort of like an actual game sprite :D

Nope, I don't believe in tools


(Plus, I don't know how to use half of them, so I just scratch it all)


Plus, the intended effect was for the blades on the bottom of each steel wing feather thing to come out straight, but I decided against making them perfectly straight for some artistic liberties and what not


I'm still very proud of it though
