Properly Fast Falling + Fair (SHFF)

I understand the concept of short hopping and fairing then pressing down to fast fall with (an auto-cancellable) Fair, but what advice on the way the inputs are given is there so I can practice it. I didn't really see a video on it for Smash4 on Youtube.
