Projekt M doesn't start

I did everything right I extracted zhe zip file to my empty 2GB SD card deleted all custom stages and stuck my SD card into the wii went to the stage studio AND nothing happened...
WHAT did I do wrong?

What region is your copy of Brawl? PAL (Europe/Australia) won't work, as Project M is currently only compatible with US versions of Brawl.

Oh I have the Europe version of the game (actually the german one)
But I thought it would work!
