I'd like to try PM out, but I don't want thematches I plsy to be saved into Brawls save data (the character bsttle records, ect). Is there a way to play it without it reading and writing to my Wii's internal save memory?

Just play on special brawl with no additional rules set (giant, curry, etc.). Records don't save in that mode.

Are you sure nothing is saved at all? I don't really care about "number of times turned on", but I want literally nothing else to be recorded. I'm trying to keep my brawl records as they are from only playing brawl in its normal state, and I'm not really interested in Project M for a prolonged period (too many characters re-cloned for my taste), but I played it once at someone elses place and I wanted to test a glitch I had noticed.

The only thing recorded in special brawl is offline vs match count, which may allow you to unlock any non-unlocked characters at most. Other than that, nothing is saved.
I should know, my records are all still blank, save my online and offline match counter.

hmm... well I suppose I can live with that; I have all the characters unlocked anyways. The only thing I don't have is a single trophy, so as long as Project M wont mess with that, it should be fine. Thanks!
