Project M wiimmfi help!

i am trying to play project M online but everything i do will not work. ive downloaded every single project M but none seem to be working. i have homebrew and i also put autowiimmfipatcher together with homebrew_wifi but i cant connect. regular brawl connects just fine. am i doing something wrong? please help!

when i try to extract the file it says the folder is empty and before i can extract files, i must copy files to that compressed folder. what now?

Did you read the post? He said nothing about extracting, he said change the .zip to .GCT.

I need help, too! How do I change that file to .gct? Also, my problem is, I run wiimmfi, and then when I go to stage builder, it loads up Project M's booter (sometimes), and then it freezes when I press play, or else it freezes with a screen full of coding. :/ I've been at this for hours!

That file is for PM 3.02, and is useless for 3.5. 3.5 includes the necessary code as standard, so you don't need any modified GCTs or apps or anything like that.

The error you're noticing is the DSI exception error that's been doing the rounds lately. Since you want to use Wi-Fi, the "standard" solution of turning off Wi-Fi obviously is pointless. Can you try this, and see if it works?

1. on sd card, go into Project M -> Launcher.
2. open config.xml in notepad. (right-click and choose edit)
3. change the value for usenetwork to false.
4. save.

I edited the config.xml file, but when I tried connecting to the wifi network, it said that I was disconnected from the wifi. Is that a result of the edit?
