Project M Wiimfi changes?? (wifi not working anymore)

Yes im aware WFC is discontinued but a few months ago with 3.5 i was able to get online. i was told wiimmfi was built in but now it wont let me in, saying discontinued. any known reasons?

That means the patch isn't being applied properly. Are you using homebrew or hackless? Are you sure you installed the wifi-safe version?

Im using what appears to be between hackless and homebrew.

it boots thru homebrew but requires the disc and sd card

I am applying a clean wifi 3.5 to the sd card and seeing if it was my files doing that. additionally, ill try to boot it thru the hackless method, since that's how ive always done it..ill report back shortly.

If you have the homebrew channel, just use the homebrew version. The hackless version is just needless extra effort if you already have homebrew on your Wii.

Hackless won't work, wifimii is needed, and With Anyone won't work if you use wifimii.

Incorrect, there is a hackless wifi-safe option. You are correct in that With Anyone is incompatible with Project M (I believe it still works with vBrawl though).

It's possible for either Brawl or Project M to connect to the Wiimmfi server without homebrew. Check this guide.

Well, thank you for the guide. I have been looking for a way to play online without my P:M files being ruined.
