I am new to Project M. And I am curious if there is a way to add custom stages and new character colors and outfits. Is there any way I can customize the characters and stages? Also, I also need help renaming some songs in smash to name my original custom songs. Any help is appreciated.

BrawlEX, if you want to add more character slots

BrawlEx is only for standard Brawl, and won't work with Project M.

If you want to add additional stages without replacing the standard ones, check this thread. For additional costumes, you want cBliss.

I am not used to Brawl Vault and cannot find a download. How do I download cBliss?

You don't. It's a set of Ocarina codes that you need to add to the PM GCT file. There is a tool for adding the codes, but I don't know if it works with 3.5. If not, you need to follow the thread I linked to above, and add the codes manually.

There is this Stage Expansion template pack. Just install that, and add in your own stages over the Training Room copies.

One more thing.... I want to test my project m stuff on my pc without going back and forth to my pc and wii. do I need some sort of program? like dolphin?

I cannot find a Brawl ISO anywhere.... anyone know a website? or at least a virus/malware free program?

Don't ask for those here, as distribution is illegal. You'll have to do your own searching, or use homebrew to rip your own.

Use CleanRip to create an ISO out of your Brawl disc. I'd rather use the original disc so I don't have to go through the time consuming process of re-building the ISO every time I want to test out different custom resources.

You could also use WinImage to put the files on a virtual SD card to use in Dolphin. Though that's not really much less time-consuming than just using an actual game and SD card.

Ok, thanks for the help. And I was trying alternate costumes/characters for some of the current characters and project m always crashes on startup after finishing. How do I change it so it can stay while booting up normally?

My wii broke (Little Cousins) and I got a new wii. but when I load project M, It takes me to the screen with "play" "update" "exit" etc... and when I press "play", It takes me to the main screen. And It keeps doing this. My new wii is 4.3u and basically the same as my old wii.
