Hey all,
I've been making some tool assisted fights for smash and just recently started making fights for project m.
I only have one fight uploaded, so comment if you wanna see a particular matchup and even a particular finish/combo if you want.

Advice is also welcome ^^

Everything about the video quality is gross (muddy, misaligned, FPS counter) but the TASes themselves are good.

That is better, yeah. Still really muddy, but at least it's centered properly.

Can you post screenshots of all your OBS settings? I may be able to identify the problem.

Also, setting a lot of these settings higher will make Project M have relentless lag spikes

Hmm. Alright, try this:

Encoding:
Uncheck CBR and CBR padding, set Max Bitrate to about 1000, keep Quality Balance where it is.
Check Use Custom Buffer Size, set to 0.

Video:
Set resolution to 852x480 (which is 480p,) and adjust your window size until it matches that exactly. If you make a Window Capture in OBS, right click it, and go to "Properties", it will tell you the size of the selected window, under Sub-Region. Check and uncheck the box to refresh the numbers.

Everything else:
Looks okay.

Make sure to record with Game Capture, and make sure it's centered properly (right click Game Capture -> Position/Size -> Fit to Screen.)

These are the setting I use, and it works fine. My computer has a stronger video card than yours, but not as strong of a processor. Hard to tell how that impacts things.
