I"m going to my friends birthday party and i'm bringing project m. Only problem: I dont know if project m can work on the smash bros channel. He doesnt use a disc, he instead uses one of those channels you get of eshop.he also hacked his wii, so im using homebrew. he doesnt want to delete his custom stages, thats why. will it still work?

TL;DR
Will homebrew method project m work on a homebrew wii but on a game channel?

What is "one of those channels you get of eshop"? As far as I'm aware, you can't download Brawl (or any full Wii game, for that matter) from the Wii's shop channel (unless you mean a Wii U download, and even then Brawl hasn't been released on there yet).

If you actually mean a forwarder channel (that boots the game from an ISO stored on a hard drive), then yes, it will work, but you'll need to boot the game via a USB loader instead. Install the homebrew version as normal to the SD card, then switch on Ocarina, and set hooktype to AXNextFrame, in the loader settings of the USB loader.

Yes, it's an option in the USB loader's settings. Where you set this depends on the loader being used; for example, in USB Loader GX, select the game, then go to Settings > Game Load > Ocarina, and set it to On.
