Project M on Wii U

So i have been playing project m for a while now, but i have been playing on my PC and it runs at like 10 fps. I tried using my wii u to run hackless project m, but i dont have any sd cards. just sdhc. Is there a way to use any usb thumb sticks to load the game? I have a 1 GB one.
