Hey, I'm new to the scene and have only recently gotten project M up and running on my Wii. Now I was wondering if people use project M on the PC and can play online with each other. At the moment im just practicing my techniques but I feel as if the AI can get predictable and will probably give me bad habits...I plan to start going to the local scene but was wondering about the online.

On the other hand if people use the Wii's online... is it as bad as I've heard? wWill it help that my Wii is set up next to my router?

Yes, it's possible to play PM on PC AND online using Dolphin, an emulator. Requires a decent PC though, and a Mayflash adapter if you wanna use a GC controller with it. People still play online on the Wii, such as myself, and yes, being near a router should help. It's slightly better than brawls online IIRC.
