Project M not working

Alright so Project M has been working properly for me, until today. I tried installing some mods on to project m but it failed so i decided to reinstall project m to my sd card. Now the launcher for project m shows up but when i press play on the launcher it just takes me back to brawl. Does anyone know whats going on?
