Project M Not Running Correctly

OK! For some reason i can't get PM to load through Hackless (full) or Homebrew (full).
Ever since the launcher was released i haven't been able to start the game.
in both versions, the program boots normally, and asks me to update my launcher to 1.04.
I do. Then i click that play button. The program stops spinning the disc, de-syncs my controller, Black-screens me and sends me back to the Wii menu.

Here are the issues i have canceled out.
My SD card is formatted to FAT
Iv'e cleared my Wii's memory in case of corrupt files.
I have downloaded and re-download PM hombrew and hackless multiple times already.
It's not my Wii because I've tested the same files on other Wii'sand they still home screen me.
I do not have any custom stages.
i am running a north american Wii and a north american version of brawl.
My SD is not SDHC.
Homebrew continues to work properly.
my SD is not named anything except E:
I've tried launching without updating the launcher itself and the same problem occurs.
PM has always worked for me with both methods up until this last launcher update.

I miss being able to play frequently, the backroom and devs have made this community and game what it is today. And have done an outstanding job. I don't mean to waste anyone's time but i'd like to see this problem fixed so that no one else has to get as frustrated as i have.
ANY IDEAS. Thanks

The zip includes the launcher and if i remove files pertaining to the launcher, PM wont even boot, just freezes

Then just delete the launcher. If you run it via Homebrew, just use the projectm\pf folder and RSBE01.gct, nothing else.

Well this is bad. following your instructions allows me to boot project m once. if I quit and try to boot it up again it black screens me like normal. I can only load and play once per reformat and data extraction. how do I fix that?

Scratch that. I only got it to work twice today. now all it will do is boot me back to the Wii menu regardless of ho many times I reformat and extract. Never had this problem with gecko Os.

How exactly are you loading Project M?

Cause I also have a FAT format 2GB SD card on a modded Wii, but I load P:M with Configurable USB loader and I have no issues, and whenever a new patch or update comes out I basically delete the old pf folder and .gct and replace them with the new one.
