I was making a little pack of the best costumes i found on Brawl Vault (in fact i made none of these) for myself, and i thought that maybe some people could want them in a pack ready to go :bee:

If you want to download it here's the link: Alt. Costumes Pack
Just exctract the file in the SD root and have fun!

Inside you will find:

I tried to make them blend in with the ones already in the game with CSPs and everything ;)

Of no importance.
If I'm not mistaken, is it not possible to equip the Squirtle Squad sunglasses during U-Taunt? If so, is the Squirtle Squad costume not redundant?

While this is true, the taunt glasses break when you take knockback, while the costume has them on all the time

That is exactly why :bee:
Well you can remove the squirtle one the only minor inconvenient could be editing the common5 file :)

So, I've tested this out, and I must say, this is pretty cool. But, I've come across what I suspect to be a bug, but it may be intentional.
And I gotta say, I do like how Mega Mewtwo Y is smaller than Mewtwo, and Mega Charizard X is larger than Charizard. Does this affect gameplay at all, do you know?

During and after a match, the characters' portraits don't look like how they do during the character selection screen. Instead, they have a different pose, that I see is uniform for characters with alternate costumes(i.e. Mewtwo, Meta Knight, etc.)
They are also whatever costume replaces that one, so Mega Charizard X appears as turquoise Charizard, and Mega Mewtwo Y appears as golden armored Mewtwo, and so forth.

I'm bringing this to you attention because if this was intentional, then I'd like a version of this without the portrait changes, and if it's a bug, I'd like to know how to fix it.

do any of these mis-represent the hitbox of the fighters? As in are they all the same size?

It could depend on a wrong placement of the files on my part or some kind of bug! It seems to work fine on mine and i checked the files in my with brawlbox and it's all there :dizzy:
If you want to go in with brawlbox i can post here the CSPs i used or something!
Btw i noticed too that Charizard is a little bit bigger, that could cause some unwanted changes :ohwell:
I was about to look into model resiziong for that! I'll let you know what i find!

Even though it has a different shape Mewtwo seems to have the same hitbox as the normal one, but Charizard really looks a bit too big!

Yeah, I looked where I assume the battle and results portraits are located, and it looked like every character had new portraits
So maybe it was you putting extra files in.

When I try to open the common5.pac in the system folder, it refuses to open and says "the program explorer.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close." I want to be able to copy and paste the content over to my already existing common5.pac without having to lose anything. Is this even possible?

I remember downloading the Mewtwo Y skin on my own a while back, and it's in my personal build. If you used the same download as I did, there's 2 folders; one with the shorter Mega Mewtwo Y, and then one that's slightly larger to be more accurate to the hitbox. If any of you want to have the size of that consistent with the hitbox, you can just download it and install it manually here:

Also, I'd like to ask if you know about posing the models for making a good CSP portraits. I have some bad looking CSP images that I used out of just cropping a picture from a taunt in game or something, but some like in the link above look like they were posed using some program.
