The characters this build adds on to Legacy XP are Dark Pit, Chrom, Toad and, Knuckles! All other Legacy XP features are included from Legacy XP!

This pack works with Legacy XP Lite but, because they have different CSS Background it will use the one from XP full.

Description:

I've found a technique Knuckles can use at the ledge to quickly travel across more than half of the stage on WarioLand and sometimes on SmashVille. I call this technique "Fleet" named after the adjective for the word, which means "fast and nimble in movement".

This Technique is possible because the platforms on WarioLand and SmashVille are just the right height for Knuckles to land perfectly on them.

To perform this technique you must "ledgejump > Run (Instantly after landing) > and then Glide (Grounded)"

It is relatively easy to pull off for beginners and can be pulled off easily by anyone higher than a beginner.

I cannot currently provide video footage of this but the file attached to this post has a replay file containing this being done. Just extract it and then place the extracted file into the "rp" folder on your sd card. The replay included in the attached zip file is meant for use with TE & K.

Hello Lyndis_! You will have to excuse my late reply.
To answer your question, Yes! Motobug did provide a cm.bin that would enable knuckles by default on the P+ build. I would recommend asking him for it on discord.

Hey there! I'm sorry to bother, but the Legacy XP addon seems to be broken for me, unfortunately. It ends up freezing whenever I try to go to the CSS in versus. I'm on LXP 2.1, using the USB loader. I tried messaging tyleto, but the Discord handle provided doesn't seem to work. Is there any way to fix this, or does it not work on USB loader?

Hello, and thanks for making this pack!

I'm trying to install it, but I cannot locate the pf folder. I downloaded Legacy XP Full 2.1 [Dolphin].7z and I cannot find a pf folder in there. Am I missing something?

EDIT: I think I get what's going on. The Dolphin version of Legacy XP doesn't have a pf folder but the Wii version does. So the only way to make this work with Dolphin is to emulate an SD card with the Legacy XP dolphin pack with expansion on it, and then run Brawl on dolphin with mods as if you were running Brawl on a Wii. Sounds too complicated for now with no guide or anything, but I'd love to try this mod at some point!

EDIT Again: I just dropped like 4 hours trying to get this working on Dolphin and ended up with nothing. Tried using the latest revision of dolphin, and the LXP build of dolphin that comes with LXP. Used Gecko OS 1.9.3.1 with Gecko Hook Type set to VBI. Created a 2GB virtual SD card but found that vanilla LXP2.1 is too large for a 2GB card and dolphin can't emulate SDHC cards. So I have no idea how anyone would use LXP 2.1 on dolphin without the Dolphin build, but I don't see how it's possible to install this character extension on the dolphin build since it has no pf folder.

So I tried using LXP's Wii build, applying the extension, and putting that on a 2GB SD card which fit, but I just got a black screen after hitting "Play" on the LXP launch screen. Very confusing and very sad. :'(

If anyone knows how to get this character extension pack working on Dolphin with LXP or LXP Lite, please share.

Pretty sure the Dolphin build is mostly for Netplay, you should be getting the Wii build. Also for the black screen, did you have your Brawl disc inserted?

So I was playing around with the Legacy 2.5 version but I noticed that the Dolphin build is missing the HD cosmetics, so I grabbed Nano's renders and made them myself. Should just be a drag and drop onto the texture folder, hope it works for people!
