Project M isnt loading on my wii

ive been trying for a while to get project m on my wii. Got the 2gb sd card, formatted it, extracted it to that sd card, made sure theres no stages made and still nothing. Is there soething im not doing or whats do you think is going on?

Also im new to playing smash competitively.

Are you from Europe/Australia or do you have a PAL Wii?

extracted it to that sd card,

going to bet this is the issue.

check you have the _contents_ of the nohomebrew folder on the root of your sd card. if you extracted to your sd card you will have put the files inside a folder on the root.
